Here's a few answers to some frequently asked questions:
Do I need to book?
We definitely recommend booking during evenings, weekends and holidays as we do get busy and have limited table space. You can book online or contact us for help.
How does in-store game play work?
In-store game passes are $10 per person for 2hrs ($5 for children under 12) and we'll give you $5 of this back for every $20 spent during your visit.
Can I bring my own game?
Generally yes, however we do not allow guests to bring in games we already have in our library, games that involve gambling or games that have offensive content. If you're unsure contact us to discuss. Standard game pass rates still apply.
Can I bring my own food?
You cannot bring outside food and drink in (except a cake – see below). We have a full range of tasty food and drink options including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.
You can bring your own cake however we charge $1 per person. We'll keep it chilled, light the candles and bring it out with cutlery and plates.
Do you have games for kids?
Yes! We have games for people of all ages and our game library is laid out to make it easy for you to choose an age appropriate game to enjoy!
How long can I stay for?
You're welcome to join in store for as long as you'd like but please note bookings are for up to two hours. This is usually enough time to play most games in our library but if you need more time for any reason we can extend for a further 2hrs. Standard game pass rates apply.
How can I rent games to play at home?
In order to rent games you must be a Meepleopolis Meeple or Meeple+ member. You may rent a maximum of 3 games at any one time. Rental is charged per week (7 days) with rental available from 1 week up to 8 weeks for each rental booking. Games must be rented online and be picked-up and dropped-off at our store (we do not post rental games).
What’s the best way to get to Meepleopolis?
We're easily accessible by bus, bike and car. The central bus station is a 3 minute walk from our store and there are bike and car parking facilities in the building right next door or on the surrounding streets.

Can you show me how to play a game?
Our Game Guides are happy to show you how to play some games depending on how busy we are and the complexity of the game. We have a lot of games that are easy to pick up and play and we offer simplified instructions on some more difficult games.
