Our mission is to strengthen and educate communities through games.
From thoughtfully curated retail to hands-on education programs and community partnerships, we use play as a tool for connection and growth.
Retail
You can browse and purchase from our curated retail selection at The Crafted Coffee Company (121 Blenheim Road, Christchurch), or explore thousands of titles in our online store.
In-store shopping is available 7am–2pm Monday to Friday and 10am–2pm Saturday.
Shop online for flat-rate NZ shipping or order for next working day pick-up from Crafted Coffee.

Education
We create and run structured game-based learning programs using tabletop games and role-playing adventures.
Each program is intentionally designed to build problem-solving, communication, teamwork, confidence, and creative thinking while keeping play at the centre.
We deliver school holiday programmes, after-school clubs, and multi-session courses across Christchurch in partnership with a range of organisations.
We also design and facilitate tailored programmes for schools and libraries, or support staff to run their own game-based learning sessions.
Education-friendly pricing is available, with programmes shaped around your students and community goals.
Element Game Tables
Designed for meaningful play The Element Game Table is our own premium game table, created to support long, comfortable, and immersive play experiences at home.
It transitions from an elegant dining table to a dedicated gaming space, with removable panels, a stain-resistant play surface, adjustable LED lighting, and built-in USB charging.
Crafted for serious gamers, families, and hosts who want their table to be the centre of connection.

Looking for a relaxed Sunday plan for tomorrow that doesn’t involve chores, traffic, or doom-scrolling?
Every second Sunday afternoon, the Christchurch Sunday Board Games crew gathers at Meepleopolis at the Climate Action Campus for an easygoing afternoon of dice rolling, card slinging and general tabletop joy.
No tournaments. No pressure. Just good people and great games.

Our friends at The Crafted Coffee Company had a visit from some very amateur “escape room enthusiasts” at 4am this morning.
Luckily they were just as cowardly as they were incompetent. After breaking a window and damaging the lock, the alarm activated and they high-tailed it out of there without managing to take anything of significance.
Unfortunately, windows and lock repairs aren’t cheap, so while the thieves walked away empty-handed, Crafted Coffee is now left with an unexpected repair bill.

In January 2026, in partnership with Green Quill, Wilj Dekkers, the Christchurch City Council and Stepping Stone Trust, we ran the pilot of NeuroQuest Adventures, a three-day blended tabletop and Minecraft programme designed to build executive functioning skills for neurodivergent young people. Through story, strategy games, team challenges and a shared Minecraft world, tamariki practised planning, teamwork, problem-solving, flexible thinking and emotional regulation.
We’ve now received the family feedback from our follow-up survey and it was great to see that all families described their child’s experience as positive and gave some great examples of how the children have taken the learnings beyond the classroom. Here are just a few of the many awesome comments the families have shared with us after the program
- “He has grown more confident around new people.”
- “was very confident starting his new school this year.”
- “He's now able to identify the elements of teamwork that he finds hard and share what makes it possible to be successful in a group.”
That’s what NeuroQuest was designed to do, not just play games, build skills that carry beyond the table.
A huge thank you to the children who stepped into Feldspat with courage and curiosity, and to their families for the trust, openness and thoughtful feedback you shared with us.
We’re currently in discussions about running NeuroQuest again in 2026, and hope to share timing, costs and further details in March.
The story of Feldspat may be finished. But this journey isn’t.
