Another fantastic playtest of Aotearoa: Contact and Tiriti today!
With more players joining us this time, we were able to open up the entire New Zealand map, which brought a whole new scale to the game.
One of the highlights was the wonderful mix of ages and backgrounds around the table. It was especially inspiring to hear how many players had taken the time beforehand to look back at the history of the period and came ready to really engage with the setting and the decisions they were being asked to make.
Arc came away with some excellent feedback too. Plenty of useful lessons to take into the next session.

Why was Te Tiriti such a pivotal moment in Aotearoa's history? How did trade with Sydney transform Māori communities? Why was coastal shipping so important?
Aotearoa: Contact and Tiriti lets you explore these questions by becoming part of the story.
You'll negotiate, trade, debate, solve problems and occasionally discover that your brilliant plan has been completely undone by another team's brilliant plan. (History can be wonderfully inconvenient like that.)
This is the second public play-test of a unique New Zealand megagame, and your feedback will help shape the final experience.
