About us

Meepleopolis was founded on a mission to educate and strengthen communities through games.  We are Christchurch's hub for gamifying life, business, and education.  We specialize in creating immersive gaming experiences that bring people together, whether for learning, team building, or pure fun. We have a game library with over 500 unique titles to rent and a huge selection of games and accessories for sale.

Our evolving focus includes designing custom gamified solutions for businesses, education, and unique guest experiences.  Join our membership program to unlock exclusive promotions, and access to innovative gaming events.

Here's a few answers to some frequently asked questions:

We're located at the Climate Action Campus, 180 Avonside Drive, Christchurch, 8061.  We are located in block E, on the south side of the Campus.  There is free off-street parking on the Campus grounds.

Yes!  We have games for ages 4+ and our team are available to help you choose an age appropriate game to enjoy!

To rent games you must be a Meepleopolis Meeple.  You can join for free here - https://meepleopolis.com/membership/

You can rent a maximum of 3 games at a time.  Rental is charged per week (7 days) from 1 week up to 8 weeks for each rental booking.  Games must be rented online through your account. Games must be picked-up and dropped-off at our store (we do not post rental games).

Our cafe & bar closed in November 2024 and we no longer offer hospitality services as we're now completely focused on creating immersive gaming experiences that bring people together, whether for learning, team building, or pure fun.  Life's better with games!
