@ Stepping Stone Trust – 1 Barry Hogan Place, Riccarton, Christchurch
We’re excited to launch NeuroQuest Adventures, a brand-new pilot program designed specifically for neurodivergent youth who thrive with structured creativity, collaborative play, and guided support.
Developed in partnership with Nathan Campbell (Green Quill), delivered with the specialist expertise of Wilj Dekkers, and proudly funded by the Christchurch City Council, this program blends tabletop role-playing quests with Minecraft-based challenges to strengthen essential executive function skills.
Across six guided sessions delivered over three days, participants will practise:
-
Planning & organisation
-
Working memory
-
Flexible thinking
-
Emotional regulation
-
Collaboration & communication
-
Problem-solving
Each day includes a mix of imaginative tabletop adventures and structured in-game missions, with each session focusing on a different executive function skill. Activities are designed to be engaging, supportive, and empowering for young people who benefit from clear structure, social scaffolding, and creative exploration.
Who is this program for?
This pilot is designed for neurodivergent youth aged approximately 10–15, depending on readiness and suitability.
To ensure the program is a positive fit, participants will be confirmed through a short referral/contact process with caregivers.
