It's time to roll the dice and think outside the box as we invite you to join us on a blind date like no other. We are inviting you as a blind date to our (exclusive for ticket holders) game night happening this June at Meepleopolis, the ultimate retro board game café and bar. If you haven't dropped by, then now will be your chance.
We are mixing things up and changing the rules from your usual speed dating event. This will not be a speed dating evening, but an evening of teams, team players and a chance to make a connection in a fun filled and exciting way.
Tickets are $47 and include a complimentary beverage, a grazing platter for each table, game guides to assist players and some ice breakers!
We are running two sessions with different age ranges:
Sun 23 July - Men & Women aged 26 - 35
Sun 30 July - Men & Women aged 36 - 56
How it works:
1. Get ready to enjoy a range of exciting games designed to encourage discussion and engagement, that will take center stage on Meepleopolis' legendary custom game tables.
2. We'll pair up our men and women into teams of three. You’re more than welcome to bring a wingman to team up with, just remember this can also be a great opportunity to make some new friends!
3. You'll have 15 minutes to play each game with your team before moving on to meet the next team and play the next game. There will be a 5 minute break between each round so you can freshen up, run to the bathroom or grab a drink and get ready for the next game!
4. Each round you play against a different team, ensuring you get an opportunity to enjoy the company of each potential connection.
5. Instadate and Meepleopolis shall be your trusty guides throughout the night. So don't take it all too seriously – let loose and enjoy the wild ride!
6. As the night draws to a close, you'll share with us who you felt a connection with and we’ll take care of the rest!
So what will the games be? Battleship? Pictionary? Jenga? Mind? I guess you'll just have to join us to find out! We are very excited for this event as it promises to be a game of eat, play love!
